Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Chengdu Rongyishuo Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”) for use of our mobile applications, official website, and related features (the “Services”), including VOCUE. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.

2. The Services

We provide teleprompting, video recording, captions, script editing, AI content generation, and related creator tools. Features may vary by device, region, operating system, subscription plan, or app version.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• You must have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. Minors should use the Services with a guardian’s consent and guidance.
• Provide accurate account information and keep your device and credentials secure.
• Do not access another person’s account without authorisation, or sell, rent, or transfer your account.

4. Licence

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Services for personal or internal business purposes. All other rights in the Services, code, designs, trademarks, and content remain with us or our licensors.

5. Your content

You retain your lawful rights in your scripts, photos, videos, audio, and other content. You confirm that you have the rights needed to process that content and that it does not infringe another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other lawful rights.

To fulfil features you request, you authorise us and necessary providers to process your content within a limited scope and period. This does not transfer ownership of your content.

6. AI-generated content

AI features may produce inaccurate, incomplete, similar, or inappropriate content. Review results for accuracy, legality, and suitability before publishing or relying on them. Generated results are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

7. Paid features, subscriptions, and refunds

• Prices, trials, billing periods, and benefits are as shown on the purchase screen and relevant app store.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions are charged through your Apple App Store or Google Play account unless cancelled within the platform’s required period.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.
• The store that processes payment handles refunds under its policies. We cannot directly change its refund decisions.
• One-time purchases or “lifetime” benefits refer to access during the supported lifecycle of the relevant product. They do not guarantee that the Services or third-party platforms will remain unchanged indefinitely.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Break the law, infringe others’ rights, or distribute unlawful or harmful content;
• Bypass payments, access controls, security mechanisms, or usage limits;
• Reverse engineer, use malicious automation, attack, disrupt, or excessively consume service resources;
• Distribute malware, commit fraud, or impersonate others;
• Use the Services to develop or train directly competing models or products, unless expressly permitted by law.

9. Third-party services

The Services may rely on app stores, cloud services, AI services, or other third parties. Their services are subject to their own terms and policies. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for services, content, or interruptions independently controlled by third parties.

10. Changes and termination

We may change features for improvement, security, compliance, or operational reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we notify you of material changes. We may restrict or terminate access if you seriously breach these terms, create a security risk, or if required by law.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, suitability for every purpose, or that user content and generated results will never be lost. Keep independent backups of important content.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses. No limitation excludes consumer rights or statutory liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by applicable law where the operator is established, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your region. If a dispute arises, the parties should first seek to resolve it through good-faith discussions.

14. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms as our products or legal requirements change. We communicate important changes through appropriate means. Continued use after the effective date indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
